Project showcased in the exhibition PAM!24
In this project, the aim is to reflect on the early experiences from childhood, where time and space were lived through the uniqueness of the present moment. Through this series of works, which use drawing to evoke the tenderness of this stage of life, we are invited to be part of this space that lives in our memory, capturing in small formats what is truly meaningful in the small and trivial.
Using a figurative language, this artistic production project is based on images from the family archive, focusing on gesture and detail as key elements.
Immersed in a state of energy and vitality, childhood is not portrayed as a metaphor for eternally lost innocence but as the possibility of a joyful future. In this state, childhood is free from the limitations imposed by society, such as personal expectations and social constructs. It is a moment of freedom and exploration, where imagination flourishes without restrictions, inviting us to consider childhood as a state of being full of potential and creativity.
